.....A Tragic Loss.....

Two weeks ago, on Monday, 11.5.2020/18 Ramadan 1441H, my family experienced a great loss. We lost the head of our household at about 9.40am on that fateful day, at Ward C3, Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru, Johor. Allahyarham Jaafar Bin Mahmood had succumbed to a very fatal stroke, which had struck him on the previous evening, Sunday, 10.5.2020, at approximately 5 pm. His remains were safely buried at the Bukit Alif Muslim Cemetery, in Tampoi, Johor Bahru. May Allah SWT shower His blessings upon Allahyarham's soul always. Al Fatihah. Amin...

Allahyarham departed without saying even one word of goodbye to all of us. He was a good family man and a good friend to everyone who knew him. He'll be sorely missed!

This is how I'm feeling at the moment.

So true!

Doesn't everyone?

.....Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri.....

This year 2020, Hari Raya Aidil Fitri , 1 Syawal 1441H, will be observed on Sunday, 24.5.2020. But unlike in the past years, this auspicious day will be celebrated differently by all Muslims, worldwide. This is because of the ongoing global pandemic, the much feared COVID 19. This pandemic is here to stay, and we, Malaysians have to adhere strictly to the SOP, set by the Government, the MKN and KKM, in particular. We will be celebrating the festival behind 'closed doors', so to speak, only amongst our own family members. Mass gatherings and Open Houses are strictly prohibited! Hari Raya visiting will be allowed only on 1st Syawal, and only twenty people will be allowed to gather in a house, at any one time. Only inter-district travelling is permitted and inter-state crossing is an absolute NO-NO! No matter what, all Muslims are looking forward to celebrating this annual festival with sheer gusto! InsyaAllah, God  willing, things will be returning to normal, and we can all observe the special day like we normally do, in future.
