.....A Raya Must-Do.....

During Hari Raya Aidil Fitri and Hari Raya Aidil Adha, every year,  we ( Princess, Prince and yours truly) will be paying our respects to our dearly departed loved ones, at their final resting places at the Bukit Mahmoodiah Muslim Cemetery, in Johor Bahru, Johor. This year, we made the  visit  on Monday, 26.6.2017 (2 Syawal 1438H). Al Fatihah. Ameen.

.....After A Hiatus Of Two Months.....

In a blink of an eye, two months have gone by since my last blog entry. We went through Ramadan and Syawal for the year 1438H, in June and July 2017. It was a so-so affair for me. Helped to prepare the annual Hari Raya goodies. My Princess was the Master Chef and I was the kitchen helper. As usual, we prepared ketupat mini, rendang, lodeh and sambal kacang. Princess bought a few types of cookies and crispies, as additions.

As usual, we had guests galore on 1st Syawal, comprising relatives from my `in-law' side of the family. And as usual too, NONE of my own siblings turned up! This is really heart-breaking! I still don't know why they've totally disowned me! Could it be because that I don't support them
financially, anymore? Only Allah SWT knows the reason, I reckon.

On Friday, 7.7.17, my Princess and I attended the Hari Raya Celebration at the BCSGJB Center in Jalan Ru, Melodies Garden, Johor Bahru. It was quite a good session, and Princess (being the talented dancer that she is) led the other members in the Lenggang Kangkong  and Bengawan Solo joget dances. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, most definitely!
