.....Of being "Friendless", "Relativeless" and "Siblingless".....
I cannot deny the fact that certain past events in my life do have a great bearing on how my life has turned out to be today. It's disheartening to note that it hasn't turned out to be a really fabulous one at all. I won't go into detail on each one of the events. Suffice it to say, that they occurred after 1975, that is after the demise of my beloved parents. The significant years in question, when the events occurred, are 1976, 2001, 2002 and 2010. It's sad really, to be an individual who has no friends, no relatives and above all, an individual, who has lost the respect, care and concern of her remaining siblings. This sad state of affairs, may be due to the fact that others may think that I haven't done sufficient good in my life at all! Sigh! My life is certainly an emotionally tainted one.....
I MUST HAVE DONE NOTHING GOOD!
I MUST HAVE DONE NOTHING GOOD!

.....Looking Back.....
HSI, JB
Female Surgical Ward
Post WLE Surgery
Almost three years ago, that is on 16.7.13, I underwent the WLE procedure. This memorable date also fell during the fasting month then, that is, Ramadan 1434H. The prognosis was good, Syukur Alhamdulillah. To some people, constantly looking back, and journeying into our past is an unhealthy pastime, but to me, it's a-okay, especially if the events concerned, revolve around 'life and death' issues, so to speak. Those particular events serve as reminders to us, of the blessings that have been bestowed upon us by The Almighty.
Anyway, I honestly feel truly, truly blessed. Just for the record, come 26th June, 2016, I will be 'turning seven'. Go figure. I was given a new lease of life by The Almighty. I reckon those who are in the same boat as I am, will truly understand what I am talking about.
Ya Allah Ya Tuhanku, thank you for all Your blessings.....Ameen.....

.....A Journey Down Memory Lane.....
The International Book Fair 2016
My Princess and I made a trip down memory lane from the 29th of April 2016 till the 1st of May 2016. The main purpose of this trip was to check out the KL International Book Fair 2016 which was held at MAEPS, Serdang. We had decided to stay in nearby Kajang, which holds a special place in our hearts. Our secondary purpose of making this trip was to walk down memory lane in this town, after a lapse of sixteen years.
Our accommodation
We had stayed in Kajang aka the 'Satay Town', from January 2000 till May 2001. That was when I was posted at the Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Malaysia, in Wisma Shen, in KL.
Our home was in this housing estate
We had rented a terrace house in Taman Jasmin, Kajang and I took the KTM Commuter train to work daily. Those were good and very memorable days, indeed, for me.
It really felt good tracing back our 'footsteps', so to speak. Kajang has not changed much. From what we could see, the traffic situation is still a-okay, but there have been new buildings built in the town proper. And of course, the food which the town is renowned for is still very much around.....satay, but of course!
The following are some of the photographs which we captured during our trip.

.....Our Rescue Felines.....
Princess feeding Nottie
Nottie, safe in his Mummy's lap
The second day of October 2015, saw the No. 33 Household owning a pet after a break of more than ten years. On that rainy morning, my Princess rescued an abandoned kitten from a nearby drain in the neighbourhood. The poor kitten was cold, wet, hungry and helpless. It desperately needed a mother's tender loving care and that was exactly what he got from his foster Mom, aka Princess. He was nursed, toilet-trained and fed accordingly, and before long, he grew up to be a lovable little dude, loved by everyone at home. He was given the name Nottie, due to his extremely mischievous character.
Yate
As if things weren't enough, a couple of weeks later, we adopted another feline, which practically surrendered itself at our doorstep. This feline was named Yate and he, and Nottie have become bosom buddies ever since. They really get along like wildfire.

Now, these two felines have become an integral part of the No. 33 Household. All of us chip in to look into their needs. Looking after rescued pets can really get very tiring, at times.....honestly!

.....Writing about the same old thing.....
This little quote best describes yours truly. For the longest time, I've been consumed with a lot of negative thoughts and feelings. It's not that I want things to be this way, but then, it just happens. Many a time, I've told myself to snap out of it, but I've failed miserably in all my attempts. The absolute boredom, the ever thinning patience with myself and with others and the Hopelessness of it all with a capital H are devouring me up to my very core. Aaarrgghh.....everything is so damn sickening!
The state of my health has a lot to be 'blamed' for my predicament, I reckon. Never a day passes by that I don't feel awful, what with the myriad of discomfort bugging me. The aches and the pain, the vertigo spells, the ups and the downs of my BS levels.....the whole lot lah! Having to become a 'pill-popper' is also another unavoidable bother. Like the quote says, I sometimes find myself reduced to tears!
The saddest part of it all though, is that I feel that I'm battling everything alone. Since others can still see me standing upright with no visible signs of being ill, they think that I'm absolutely a-okay. Sad, don't you think so?
The vivacious and winsome smile that hides a helluva lot of excruciating pain

.....Still fighting my 'demons'.....
Being teary-eyed, almost always
Conditions haven't changed much, that's for sure. Even though more than two years have lapsed since the 'fiasco', I'm still trying my level best to fight off the 'demons' that have been haunting me . It certainly has been tough for me. Despite religiously taking the prescribed medications on a daily basis, I still encounter lots of discomfort which accompany the chronic ailments that I've been blessed with. The chronic fatigue, the vertigo, the highs and the lows, the depression, the anger, the self-pity. In short, the WHOLE WORKS, lah. SIGH!
I do try my utmost best to plod on with my life, each and every single day, but the hopelessness of it all still keeps on bugging me, somehow, sometime, or other. I most definitely feel that I'm fighting a really lonely battle and it's surely not something to shout about.
I agree with this, and I live by it
A very strong word, indeed!
The simple truth for yours truly!
