.....A Journey Down Memory Lane.....

The International Book Fair 2016

My Princess and I made a trip down memory lane from the 29th of April 2016 till the 1st of May 2016. The main purpose of this trip was to check out the KL International Book Fair 2016 which was held at MAEPS, Serdang. We had decided to stay in nearby Kajang, which holds a special place in our hearts. Our secondary purpose of making this trip was to walk down memory lane in this town, after a lapse of sixteen years.

We had stayed in Kajang aka the 'Satay Town', from January 2000 till May 2001. That was when I was posted at the Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Malaysia, in Wisma Shen, in KL.

Our home was in this housing estate

We had rented a terrace house in Taman Jasmin, Kajang and I took the KTM Commuter train to work daily. Those were good and very memorable days, indeed, for me.

It really felt good tracing back our 'footsteps', so to speak. Kajang has not changed much. From what we could see, the traffic situation is still a-okay, but there have been new buildings built in the town proper. And of course, the food which the town is renowned for is still very much around.....satay, but of course!

The following are some of the photographs which we captured during our trip.
