.....Regrets.....

As the days go by, I can't help but feel extra sayu and sad when I think of JBM. I really wasn't a good person for him to live his life with. I'm sure he regretted having landed up with me. Just wasting his life with such a useless specimen. Nevertheless, it is my fervent hope that he's in a better place now, surrounded by angels, and that eternal peace and happiness will be with him always. (I'm really tearing up, writing this).

Ya Allah Ya Tuhan ku, ampunilah segala dosa-dosaku terhadap Allahyarham JBM, dan
Ya Allah Ya Tuhan ku, cucurilah rahmat Mu keatas roh Allahyarham. Amin, Amin Yarabbal Alamin.

.....Significant Events In August 2020.....

The month of August 2020 brings with it three significant events for yours truly. Firstly, it was on the 4th of August, 71 years ago, that I was born - the first daughter for Abdul Rahim Bin Narat and Aisah Binti Abdullah.

Birthday dinner, at Dulang Kafe, Setia Tropika, Kempas, JB

Secondly, on the 28th of August, Hafiz observed his 18th birthday. The scrawny little baby he once was, is now all grown up into a very loving, helpful and responsible individual. Syukur Alhamdulillah. Amin.

Finally, the extremely significant event is none other than beloved Malaysia's 63rd birthday, which falls today, 31.8.20. This event is celebrated by each and every Malaysian, wherever they may be in this world. Many Happy Returns Of The Day, Malaysia! May you continue to grow in leaps and bounds and may we  finally see the much awaited 'demise' of the dreaded pandemic Covid 19! GOD WILLING, WE WILL WIN!
INSYAALLAH, AMIN!

.....It's Been 100 Days Since He Left Us All.....

Today, Tuesday, 18.8.2020, marks the hundredth
day, Allahyarham Encik Jaafar Bin Mahmood left  us all forever. On Monday, 11.5.2020, he succumbed to a massive stroke, which he suffered on the previous evening. He breathed his last at Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru and was laid to rest at the Muslim Cemetery at Bukit Alif, Tampoi, Johor Bahru. He is dearly missed by all his loved ones.
Ya Allah, Ya Tuhan ku, cucurilah rahmat Mu keatas roh Allahyarham. Semoga roh Allahyarham ditempatkan bersama-sama golongan yang beriman. InsyaAllah. Al Fatihah  (with recitation). Amin, Amin, Yarabbal Alamin.

The following quotations are very inspirational, indeed. They are a good help for us in our endeavour to face our daily Life squarely in its face. .....Remembering My 71st Birthday, on Tuesday, 4.8.2020.....

I had a memorable birthday, right from the morning till night time. In the morning, I received a nice surprise , by special delivery, in the form of a bouquet filled with goodies from my Princess and an unknown person. Later in the afternoon, Princess came home from work with a cake in tow. It was yummy! To end the special day, we enjoyed a sumptuous dinner at Dulang Kafe at Setia Tropika, Kempas, JB. Thank you very much, my Princess and Prince for the wonderful day filled with surprises! The only sadness the three of us  felt was the absence of our loved one, Allahyarham Encik Jaafar Bin Mahmood. May his soul be blessed by Allah SWT always. Al Fatihah (with recitation). Amin, Amin Yarabbal Alamin.

.....Looking Back To Four Years Ago, Today.....

On this day, the 9th of July, four years ago, I had a nasty fall indoors, at the back door leading to the store room. It was about 6 pm, then.  I'd literally fallen like a 'nangka busuk', as the old popular Malay saying goes. Initially, I thought that I'd just sprained my right ankle. But the result of  the fall was that I'd  actually fractured both sides of  the particular ankle. The pain that I felt the whole night long, was really excruciating. The next day, I had it examined  at HSIJB, (the X'ray and Ortho Departments), and after all the x'rays were done, my ankle was put into a full POP cast (knee to ankle), and I had to have it on for a full three months. What ensued after that was really torturous! I had to move around on a wheelchair, and bath times were the hardest. I had to securely cover my right leg with plastic garbage bags, before I went under the shower. It was really awful! I had to go for periodical check ups and x'rays, before the cast was finally removed in September 2016. To cut the long story short, my right leg has never been the same as before. It is much weaker now, and frequently suffers from excruciatingly painful cramps. But, despite all the sufferings I've gone through, I'm truly grateful that I'm still mobile, albeit at a much slower rate!  Syukur Alhamdulillah. However, I definitely wouldn't want to go through that harrowing experience, ever again! Touch wood! InsyaAllah. Amin.
