.....Significant Events In December 2018.....

 

 

 

December 2018 saw the occurrence of the following events.....

 

 

Firstly, yours truly and Princess went up to Seri Kembangan, Selangor, to attend the BIG BAD WOLF BOOK SALE . We were there on Thursday, 13.12.18 till Friday, 14.12.18.

 

 

 

 

Secondly, on Saturday, 22.12.18, a natural disaster occurred in Banten and Lampung, along the Sunda Straits in Indonesia. A massive volcanic eruption occurred in Gunung Anak Krakatau, followed by a destructive tsunami. As a result, hundreds of lives were lost, and the damage to property was huge.

 



 

 

 



As usual Christmas was celebrated on the 25th of December, which fell on a Tuesday.

 

 

 

Friday, 28.12.18, marked the fourth month of Adik's demise. RIP Adik.

 

 

Finally, it's New Year's Eve, today, Monday, 31.12.18 . Au Revoir 2018 and Bonjour 2019.

..... November 2018 Dates To Remember....

 

November 2018 saw the occurrence of several significant events  which will be forever etched in my mind.....They were all very sad happenings, indeed!

 

To begin with, 1.11.18, reminded me of how I was nearly duped by the unscrupulous Macau Scammers, one year ago. Selisih Malaikat Empat Puluh Empat!

 

Secondly, Saturday, 10.11.18, saw the demise of my maternal cousin, Allahyarhamah Suzy Md Noor. She succumbed to CA, at the young age of 52.

 

 

 

Ten days later, on Tuesday, 20.11.18, a very good friend of the BCSGJB members, namely, Puan Kalsom Binti Kaliman, expired at HSI, JB. She  lost her seven year battle with CA. She was indeed a very lovable person and a real gem to all the support group members. You'll be terribly missed, Kalsom.

 

 



 

Another significant date was Wednesday, 21.11.18. On that day, my beloved sibling, Allahyarhamah Roseana binti Abdul Rahim, would have turned 67. She passed on eight years ago , a victim of Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
 

 

 

 

 

Sunday, 25.11.18, saw the demise of my maternal uncle, Tuan Haji Roslan Bin Marto, who was Allahyarhamah Suzy's stepfather. He was a very jovial individual, and he was also an accomplished handyman. He'll definitely be missed by all his loved ones.

May Allah SWT bless the souls of Allahyarhamah Suzy, Allahyarhamah Kalsom, Allahyarhamah Roseana and Allahyarham Uncle Roslan. Al Fatihah. Ameen.

 

 

Finally, three months have gone by since Late Adik crossed the Rainbow Bridge. (28.8.18-28.11.18). RIP Adik.

.....It's That Time Of The Year, Again!

Yeah, it's that time of the year, again! Pink October! The special month, which is especially dedicated to Patients, Survivors, Supporters and Friends of the ailment dubbed as Breast Cancer!     Well, I joined this Pink Ribbon Fraternity on Friday, 26.6.2009, a good nine years and four months ago! To this date, I've been going through life as best as I possibly can. There have been the usual fair share of ups and downs for me, but I've been determined to face up to my life squarely in its face! Thus far, life has been good to me. Syukur Alhamdulillah. Ameen Ya Rabbal Al Ameen!

.....What I Have To Contend With Daily.....

Since half a decade ago, that is, since being blessed with this particular chronic malady, my life has been a roller coaster, with lots more of downs rather than ups. Nonetheless, and despite everything, I'm grateful  for this blessing from Allah SWT. As the saying goes, The Almighty only bestows tests and hardships to His strongest soldiers. I reckon I do fall under this category. Syukur Alhamdulillah. Ameen. The following 'posters' clearly and truly depict my predicament.
