The month of October, every year, holds a very significant place in the hearts of a group of special people, worldwide. Yes, Pink October is especially for the breast cancer survivors, their supporters and friends. This whole month is really valuable and it will be filled with a lot of activities, be it, pertaining to health,  sports, recreational or social activities, particularly organized for, by and with these special people in mind. It is everyone's fervent hope, that gratitude and thankfulness will be aplenty for the people concerned because, after all they have, each and everyone of them, been given another lease of life, by The Almighty, so to speak! Syukur Alhamdulillah. Ameen.

.....Goodbye September, Hello October!.....

 

 

The month of September 2017 just flew by in a whizz. It was filled with both joy and sadness for me, personally, as well as for the nation and world, at large.

 

 

 

 

Now, comes  the month of October 2017 , the tenth month in the Gregorian calendar. It's a very special month, because it brings with it the special Pink Power, particularly for those who belong to the Pink Fraternity, namely, all the survivors of the BIG 'BC', their supporters and friends. Let us hope that the month of October 2017 will be a good, joyful and fruitful month for everybody, InsyaAllah. God willing.

 

.....My Life Sucks!.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My life sucks! That's the reality of it all! Loneliness is my middle name. Behind all the ravishing and winsome smiles, lie a lady who is lonesome all the time. I hardly have true friends, and the saddest thing is that, I seem to be sibling-less and also have no relatives, whatsoever! Actually, I have only one person to blame for this  fiasco, but no name needs to be mentioned, though!

.....Significant August Dates.....

 

 The month of August contains several significant dates. Firstly, on the 4th of August, in 1949, I was born the first child to Abdul Rahim Bin Narat and Aisah Binti Abdullah.

 

 

Secondly, a close friend of mine, used to observe his birthday on the 27th of August. He expired on the 25th of April, 2007.

 

 

Thirdly, my fifth sibling, Rozah was born on the 28th of August, 1957.

 

Lastly, our beloved Malaysia observes its Merdeka Day on the 31st of August, each year since 1957.

I'm commemorating the 68th anniversary of my birth today. Sixty eight years ago, on this date, I was born the eldest child to a couple of teenaged parents, at Jalan Hospital, Batu Pahat, Johor. I've really gone through a lot during all these years, lots of trials and tribulations, lots of happiness and sadness and a fair share of heartbreaks, as well! Health wise, I haven't been spared, either. As early as 1965, I'd already been plagued by a kidney disease. Much later, in 2009, I joined the Pink Fraternity, as to be expected. I was carrying on my Mom's legacy. As if, that wasn't enough, I've also inherited my Dad's medical problems, that is, High BP and DM. Syukur Alhamdulillah, thus far, I've been managing myself well, with the help of appropriate treatments and relevant medications. My BFFs these days, are definitely, the hospitals and health clinics.

 

 

 

 

 

 

.....A Raya Must-Do.....

 

 

During Hari Raya Aidil Fitri and Hari Raya Aidil Adha, every year,  we ( Princess, Prince and yours truly) will be paying our respects to our dearly departed loved ones, at their final resting places at the Bukit Mahmoodiah Muslim Cemetery, in Johor Bahru, Johor. This year, we made the  visit  on Monday, 26.6.2017 (2 Syawal 1438H). Al Fatihah. Ameen.
